Thanks everyone! Yeah, the 123 is my next project at some point, its in very good condition for the most part, and i got it from the original owner(who ran a body shop) too! The guy took very good care of everything he had,and the engine was rebuild and has a new head.It even came with a nice set of decals in the box that said cub cadet on it!All that with the weights and deck for $425! I hope to it this spring or summer,as the steering needs to be rebuilt and a few other things. The hard part is not being able to use it for a few months when im redoing it

Very nice picture and paint job. Could you be able to tell me how to tell if the tines are wore out? How are yours? Any ways, nice going once again!

Default part 1 tube

Here are pics of the extentions one is a tube and one is a solid rod. I'm posting these in case anyone else might need them. I will post pics of the tube as part 1 and then the solid rod part 2. Both holes on the tube are the same size.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
