When I restored my 70 I used the Chassis Service Manual and pictures I took when I disassembled my 70 to see where the fuel line and wire harness goes.
Do You have a Chassis Service Manual for your Cub? Page 1-24 of the Chassis Service Manual for a 73 has a picture of the fuel line that should be on your Cub. A Chassis Service Manual can be found in the technical section.

My bad, That is a 100.The k161 has a u shaped fuel line,
