Default Hydro gear swap - what models?

Cub cadet z Force 48"
model 17AF3AGV010

My issue is that the pump cylinder and motor cylinder blocks are scored heavily. I could turn them down on my lathe but I'm not sure how far I can go before they would be an effective or not work correctly. I can get the center section and both cylinder blocks for approximately 300 or so. Which isn't out of the question. But if I can find a used hydro gear that is working for less I'd like to go that route

Hydro gear zt-2800 part # zh-jcbc-3k2c-2ll1
Superseded to zh-jcbc-3k2c-2pl1
The superseded number searching in Google brings me to websites selling them with another part number as well ZH-JCBC-SK2C-2PL1

Trying to find listings for a used one proves difficult as they don't have the exact part number listed. So was trying to see if anyone new what other models used these part number, so I can search for mowers being parted out.

How old is the mower and how many hours does it have?

I'm not sure how that's relevant to my question.

As stated the pump and motor cylinder blocks for the hydro gear are toast. The center section is also likely done.

It just may not be worth it to invest a lot time and money in the mower if it has a lot of hours.

gO HERE, AND PUT IN YOUR MODEL NUMBER. SELECT WHICH ONE, RIGHT OR LEFT FROM THE PARTS BREAKDOWN. THEN USE THE PART NUMBER TO LOOK UP WHAT OTHERS USE THAT PUMP.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
