Default New to Cub Cadet looking for help for year
I picked up a 1200 Cub Cadet but am having a hard time finding out what year it is. Any help would be great. thanks

Welcome to OCC. Lots of good info on here to help you on your journey.

The Quietline series (what your 1200 is) were made from October 1974 to August 1979. We could narrow when yours was built if you post the serial number info.

Nope, it would make it a September of 1976 model.

The kind code is 205.

2050580U594980
0580 is the model number for a 1200

2050580U594980is the serial number of your machine.
