Default Parting 1811 for 1872?
Would I be cussed at for stealing the engine out of the 1811 to get my 1872 going again? I cant find an engine for the 1872 and found an 1811 that runs good and seems like a nice tractor so now I am afraid I might just end up with the 1811 and still searching for an engine for the 1872.... Help! I just want my 1872 back.... lol

Im stuck but now thinking put engine in 1872 and find what ever engine for the 1811 later on. IDK

The 1811 is the best GT that Cub Cadet ever produced in my opinion and I love a good running Kohler Magnum too. What is wrong with your 1872 engine?

The original engine smoked real bad. I cant remember this was a while ago but think I ran it low on oil with it burning so bad and threw a rod? Cant remember and its gone now. Then I found a craftsman GT with 18 mag and put it in and the crank for the front pto is different size. Anyways its running on 1 cylinder now. Think valves bad on other side but just a guess. I just want the 1872 going again so searching for engine or a donor rig when I ran into the 1811. I didnt buy it yet Hoping to saturday. But probably have another cub in the yard and still searching for an engine. lol
