Default EZ rake?

Would I be able to get anything for an EZ Rake that runs well and is in good cosmetic and structural shade (no rust)? A guy I'm roofing some buildings for has one collecting dust, so I was thinking about trying to talk him out of it cheap just to turn a profit. It is not something I would ever use. If anyone knows the approximate value, or is looking for one, let me know. I'll give someone from here a very good deal.

Thanks.

I must be slow tonight as I am having a hard time figuring out what you mean by a EZ rake. Do you mean a sweepster that mounts on the front of the tractor? Or a sweeper that you pull behind raking leaves into a basket usually in the 38 or 42 inch size? Or something else?

I "think" he is referring to a Vacuum type of device that sucks up the leaves from the deck discharge and puts that into a container (bag or trailer).

It has it's own motor, is towed behind the tractor (I think) and is called an EZ Rake. It also appears to have been built by IH.

It looks like this

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
