Default 127 Rim Sizes

Someone may have asked this previously, but I couldn't find it. IH offered standard and oversized rims and tires for some of their tractors. Is there a chart that shows both the standard and oversized rim sizes, and the tire sizes that will fit them? I could find some data for rear wheels, but not for the fronts, which are my current concern. I'm most interested in the 127 sizes, but I'm sure this information would be useful for owners of other tractors.

Thank you.

Front tires: 'narrow' and 'wide'...480/400-8 and 16-6.5-8 tires, respectively. The narrow wheels are all the same from 70-QL that had the 3/4" spindles, and the wider wheels for the NF and WF tractors have valve stems on the opposite side of the other. Only 16-6.5-8 front wheels were available after the switch to 1" front spindles.

Rear tires: 5" (I think) rim = 6-12 tire; 7" rim = 23-8.5-12 tire; 8.5" rim = 23-10.5-12 tire.

My 126 has 16x6.50x8 front rims, and the spindles are 3/4". They look like the originals, but I don't know that for sure.

It wasn't till partway through the quietline production that the change was made to 1" spindles.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
