Default Hour Meter

So on a whim, I bought this universal hour meter off eBay for ten bucks.
Of course it's Chinese, what else.
Haven't used it yet, but on the outside appears to be decent quality for the price.
There is a rubber ring for behind the face ring. The mounting bracket slides on from the rear and latches (easy to remove).
Requires a 2" hole.
Took about 2 weeks on the slo-boat.
(hah, the caliper is Chinese too)

Been looking at them also,
My Oem clock one quit again.
I cleaned/oiled the clock gears maybe 5 yrs ago. but noticed it recently quit and
shaking it produced no ticking.
This time the induction coil prolly is shot, I know more when I open it up again
Have you installed it yet and does it fit in the hole properly, thanks.

No install yet. I'm thinking I'll use it on my next resto project so that the first tick of the clock starts with the first turn of the key. A two inch hole is what's required. If you got one it will fit.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
