Working on them and with them keeps you out of her hair and that should be enough.

Get a tiller and make her some flower gardens. Get a sweeper and keep the driveway clean. If it's gravel, get a box grader to keep it smooth. Get a side mount brush cutter and keep the property edges trimmed and tidy.

For just another few thousand bucks, you could have plenty of uses.

Find another deck and let her help with the mowing.

Sell it and go out drinking every night and golfing every day.
Then remind her how happy she USED to be.

Default Add a winch.

My acre is on a rocky hillside. I have three different trailers that I pull with my SGT to do work around the yard. This week I'll be distributing wood mulch around the lot to cover bare spots and control erosion.
I recently added a small winch $50 @ HF) to the front mule drive bracket. I have used it to move deadfall trees, large rocks and to lift a heavy hinged deck section for spa access.
I also use a box blade for dirt moving. I have a disc harrow for gardening and landscaping.

I also have 2 acres and the 1650 has cut my mowing time in half as I used to use a Gravely walk behind. Then I got a Brinley cart and it has saved a huge amount of labor moving landscaping materials, rocks, blocks and also firewood. We have a small orchard and it's been handy picking up the prunings for the burn pile or chipper. Give it time, ideas or chores will come to ya. One time the wife came home with about 600 lbs of soil amendments. Got all of it stacked in the cart and delivered them to "designated" spots in only one trip.

I hung this Agri-Fab rake on the 782 and cut my driveway raking down from almost 2 days to less than 2 hours. I also have a mini-haywagon and a utility dump trailer to haul stuff around the property. Saves an awful lot of time.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
