I understand that R Bedell. I did want to buy all my parts from one vendor, and I wanted to support a vendor our forum promotes. I’ve also bought from Patton Acres, and I must say it was a better experience. I don’t know how large CCSpecialties is, but they said they never got my email inquiry about my order. I asked if it may have been sent to a “junk folder”, and they said they have a private server and IP address so junk e-mail was nonexistent. I must ask then, how could an email not be received by what seems quite an astute system? I don’t regret buying from CCS, but next time I’ll ask for more information as far as shipping goes.

I have had great service from 98% of my Ebay and Amazon transactions, and 75% success rate from the board sponsors. There is NO valid reason a tracking number can't be provided upon shipment of an order!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
