149 starting issue
This may have been talked about before, but i am not having much luck. Whats happening after i run the tractor for a while and turn it off, when i go to start it back up sometimes it acts like its still in gear and as the starter cranks the tractor moves. Makes a weird noise as it does this...frustrating as all get out. When the pedal is pushed down the hydro lever neutrals out and most times this is the case, however, when this happens it just sounds like its grinding gears. Any insight would be appreciated

Sounds like you need to "neutralize" your linkage. Go to the Technical Library Section, see link: Manual
Look on page 2-57 for this procedure.

Thanks Roland...after digging into it this appears to be the issue. You know thinking back now i was going to take care of this, but getting older must be losing my mind haha! Oh well on to the next!
