Well I'm only 17 so I don't have a wife but since I live with my mom most the time and keep all my cubs in my shop there. When ever mom asks if that's a new one or what do you need another one for. I just say that's the one that's gunna snowblow the driveway this year or that one will mow this summer. Lol it works for me

I agreed. That's like music to our ears. And, just for clarification, my wife isn't the bad guy here - more likely it's me. And she did say we need to build a bigger building for my tractors.

And forgive me here, but I have entertained thoughts of selling a few of my Cubs to make room and to fund for a bigger tractor - maybe a Farmall Cub, or a Super A or a Ford 8N or something along those lines. But then I get looking at my Cub Cadets to see which one I can part with and I begin to think I want to keep this one, and this one, and this one, and.....; get the picture of what my wife's up against.:biggrin2.gif:

Terry, I think you need to stop all this crazy WF talk and just man up and go straight for a RED 82 series.... Then use it to do a ton of landscaping, (flower gardens ect) It seemed to do the trick for me! :biggrin2.gif::biggrin2.gif::biggrin2.gif:

I love my WF's. I am always thinking it would be nice to have a Farmall Cub. I really like the all yellow Lo-Boys. Then I look at what I use the WF's for, and realize they can do everything the Farmall can, don't take up as much room, and I can buy several very nice different WF's or even the red 82 series for what the Farmall would cost. If the Farmall Cubs weren't so darn cute, they would have been sent to the scrap yards years ago. I know this is blasphemy here, but for a bigger more useful tractor, I would go with the smaller older 4x4 Kubota, like a B6100.

I like that plan - I did find a 682 that may need engine work, but it's a little drive for me. I might inquire about anyways.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
