Morning Folks. Looking at this 127, several hundred miles away but
pretty darn close by MT standards. While it looks quite tempting, one of the main reasons to have it would be to use the plow, and unfortunately a tiller which he does not have. First off, what tiller fits this tractor? #1, #2 ? I would not want to look for the wrong one. Secondly, do you all in the world where Cub stuff exists even see these tillers around. Would hate to bring this home and never be able to find a tiller. Hope you all are well, Thankshttps://kalispell.craigslist.org/grd/d/kalispell-international-cub-cadet-with/7342628409.html Ken |

Both #1 and #2 will work on that tractor with the correct mule drive and belt.
Make sure to get the gear box, mount and belt guard if you find one. The @1 tiller may have 1 extension (left or right side) or both (left and right side) essentially making it the same with as a #2 which is 42" The #2 tiller is 42" and has no extensions. Looks like a decent unit including the 3 point, sleeve hitch set-up and plow mot to mention the other items included. If you plan on using the plow much, better plan on at least a set of chains and some weight or better yet a pair of ag tires and some weight. Good luck! |

Thanks for the info. I will look for the tiller first and then see if the
127 is still around. Would that be putting the cart before the horse? ![]() Ken |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
