Default 1282 question
I posted this here because I have a question on this machine.
I found a 1282 for sale with about 800 hours on the meter but doesn't run. The engine turns by hand and the tin and paint are in great shape. I offered $375 but the lowest he will take is $400. All the tin on the engine is in great shape and is clean. It doesn't have the ci rear, it sat under cover for a few years so the brake, pto and lift handle are kind of seized up.

I will have to sell either my 104 or 1200 to make room for this. Should I pass and keep what I have or go with the red? I would sell them for what I have in them and not roll them for profit as in an earlier post.

Worth every penny to me, I have one and I love it. It's one of the best running machines I own. If it were closer I would buy it in a min. I don't think you could go wrong either way though. Buy the way mine has just under 900 hours on it and runs like a top.

I would go the $400 on it. It is going to need a grill, that will be $50-$75 plus whatever it takes to get it running.
