I put tubes in two tires on my 125. The one rear was dry rotted and leaking, the one front had a hole that was previously plugged and leaking. I tried a patch in the front one first, but the PO had Slime in it and the patch wouldn’t stick so I had to get a tube. Now I won’t have to stop every hour to put air in my tires.

Got the basket case 126 I have been resurrecting/working on these past several months off the table for a run around the yard.
Added a 3 point and spring assist, driveshaft and coupler from Jeff and got the lights working with a new switch and wiring. The seat has got to go though!! |

The PTO bearing went out on the 123 when I was mowing this week. Finally got it pulled off, but is was a pain because the PO broke the top of the set screw For the locking collar.

I got the PTO back together on the 123. I found a 2 pack of PTO bearings on amazon for $18. Most of the bearings by this company have good reviews, I guess I’ll see how it holds up.

I just finished installing a new wire harness, some routine maintenance, and a freshened up paint job on my sisters 1250. I thought it’d be fun to park my
“1450 SGT” next to it for a comparison. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pC1C...&feature=share

Finished giving the 107 a once-over, fluid change, etc and got it back together. Ran it through its paces in the yard and finished right as a storm rolled in. Everything worked well, including catching a rainbow at the end! My assistant, Noelle, has taken a liking to the 107; she barks at the 1440 when I'm running it, but just observes the 107. Guess she likes the old Kohler-powered IH iron...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
