Got the 1211 running! And washed up for the first time in years. No ignition switch, and smokes like a 57' B-61! Dam thing still runs good, and starts at the drop of a dime. Much to my amazement, the 1211 don't leak not one drop of fluids at all, unbelievable! Might try the IH 56" snow blade on it this winter.

Thanks guys! Hard to believe this 1211 had one foot in the grave, and the other on a banana peal. Smooth as silk with the iso mounts. If the Mag 12 lets loose, I got a Series 2 twin awaiting!

Allen, you guys alright down there, after the hurricane? Wife and I were in Holden the last week of August, could not ask for a nicer beach! Thems hurricanes keep us Yanks up north where we belong, lol! What cub you running these days, last I knew it was a red one.

We did very well, John! We were very lucky. There was a lot of damage and flooding around us.

I'm now a member of the smoker club. Got my 1512 three weeks ago. I really enjoy it!

Default Cub Cadet 1450

Just bought my first ever Cub Cadet. A 1976 1450 a neighbor sold me for $500. I've been into cars and motorcycles for years, but this is my first foray into tractors...

I'm in Augusta. I'm pretty excited about this Cub. A buddy just bought a Cub tractor this spring and he really got me looking at them. I held out all summer until this one came along.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
