Default 4 Circuit Hydraulic Setup
Bringing old post back to life.

What about 4 different cylinders? How would you do it? Run 2 - 2 spool valves, or a triple & single?

Didnt read through all of it, but what I did read sounds like a 3 spool valve with a diverter solenoid to redirect to a different cylinder...?

As long as you don't want to use more than one at once, that would work. But in that set up, the first valve takes priority.

That is true IF....you are using more than one valve at a time.

Let's see, One hand on the Steering Wheel, and One hand on a valve, probably be OK.

The JD valve I used was a Dukes valve. I found the literature and have included the link here. Hope maybe it helps someone.

Unless he's building a backhoe. OP doesn't state the intent. Which also makes it difficult to answer the question. Doesn't matter. He asks stuff like this all the time. Never shares anything that gets built.....

Plus, if you go by the thought that you can only operate one valve at a time because you have to have one hand on the steering wheel, then you wouldn't be any good at running a loader. You have to tilt the bucket while lifting or you will dump the load. Should be able to rum at least 2 at a time. 3 if they're positioned right.

Ever done That? A tripple spool is tough enough to squeeze into that cowel. Would think that would be next to impossible to do while retaining an authentic look
