I know you still have plenty to go over but this is starting to look like a story with a happy ending. By the way, it's never too soon to start keeping an eye open for number "two".

Wel I think I may be picking up a 122 with a snow plow and 38" deck, also comes with chains here soon. But I will need a better place to keep them or find a cover. I only have a car port and that's not doing much.

Nice! That should work great.

Looks like that's probably a wide frame lift arm. So when you pick one of those up, you can just move the brackets back out and mount it right up.

The 38" decks aren't most folk's favorites, but they will cut grass. I like the 42" and 48" decks a bit better.

Plow blades are great!

Only thing you should keep in mind is that the 122 didn't have the quick attach fittings, so things like the snowthrower and plow blade don't necessarily swap between the 127 and 122 without a little tinkering, but they are physically very similar.

Probably just keep the deck and snow blade on the 122 and the tiller and blower on the 127

I like that piece I added because now if I hit something with the blower there is some give, little swivel action.

Does the float pin work on your lift? It’s that little button on the grip like a trigger sort of.

They are often stuck or non-functional, but that’s the purpose, particularly on blades.

Way to go on the extension, it will work well.
I will let you know the blower will not work on the 122.BTDT

Float pin is functional, I was just making the best out of the fact I needed to make something.

That 122, if I end up getting it, will only have the plow and mower on it, but who knows I may get something different

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
