You only want the tires full to about 1" down from the top of the rim.
2 reasons: 1.) They need some air for cushion 2.) If they are full above the valve stem, you can't check pressure without a gauge made for fluid. You will ruin a standard gauge. Probably should drain some out. 6 gal is more than enough on a 10.50 tire. |

10-4, I purchased everything pictured.
J-Mech, thank you. I put 10 lbs. of air in the tires before I mounted them on the tractor. I'll jack up the tractor and place the valve stem at 12 o'clock and see what happens. I appreciate you guys steering me straight.

I would turn the tire until the valve is at 12 o'clock and remove the guts and let it drain until it's stops, this way you don't have to worry about fluid ruining your air tool and it will give the tractor a softer ride. I have 6 gallons in my 10.50's and it's plenty.

The RV anti or WW sol will not corrode an air gauge like chloride will.
just flush it a bit with water and all is well. You might find #10 is a little high, I run less, just enough to get a little sidewall deflection and a smooth ride. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
