Default Starter generator pulley
I bought a new s/g on eBay for my 125. Just curious where I can find the pulley that attaches to it to run the belt to the motor? Preferably a new one. Any help is appreciated.

You will need a Kohler KH-231278-S Pulley. It is available from your local Cub Cadet or Kohler Dealer(s). There is always the sponsors above, as well as the internet.

Or,
If you happen to have a generator rebuilder close by, or a salvage yard that has older vehicles, any Delco generator pulley will fit but you will have to match up the OD as well as the width.
Or look on epay

Not so. There is a difference in the S/G pulley on engines with ACR vs non- ACR engines.
Don't ask how I know that....

Yes you are correct, that is why I mentioned he would have to match the diameter as well as the width
Even an alternator pulley will work but if his original pulley uses a woodruff key in the shaft, the later alternator pulleys on some vehicles eliminated them as redundant.

I have purchased one of those in the post above and it was worth every penny. It is a solid piece of steel instead of a piece of sheet metal like the original
