Take your burned out bulb to your local parts house or friendly hardware man.

I would suggest not going back to that store........ever. That is a really generic bulb. My local Napa has them on hand.

A # 57 bulb is same shape, size, and voltage, but a different candlepower. The #57 is far more popular as it was heavily used in semi-truck marker lights until they went to LED several years ago. Should be easier to find and most likely cheaper.

As for odd number bulbs of any type, here's a good source with somewhat reasonable pricing -----

Agreed! I have used the #57 before... should be availible at any parts store and dirt cheap.. Just for I have found that my Carquest and Orielly auto have bulk bulbs behind the counter MUCH cheaper than the blister packed ones out front.. I can buy a whole box for about the price of two bulbs in the blister pack

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
