So I got an alert in my email on this:

Also found at Home Depot for $249, so the sale is real.

I've never heard of "Sportsman Earth Series". A google search returns nothing. HD has a parts list, but googling the part numbers returns no results.

What do you think? Worth taking a chance on it for $139? Maybe get an extended warranty?

For $140.00 if I needed or wanted a post hole driller I'd give it a shot. Sam's club link works for me. Now I'm trying to think of a use for one. LOL.

I thought it was frozen water auger for fishing.
Them work pretty slick fer making holes to drown mousies

Been trying really hard to think of a reason to buy this. I hear Trump is going to put in a border tax so cheap chinese stuff may go up in price soon. Best I got so far, still working on it

This reminds of a old neighbor. He came and knocked on the door. Hey you got a minute come give me a hand. Walked over to find a gas powered posthole digger in the ground up to the handles. Seems the ground was to wet to dig. It just screwed in like a corkscrew into a wine cork.
