How do you like the gun? I just bought the set with the detail and quart capacity guns. Haven't used them yet. Never tried HVLP, so I figured my Cub would be a good test subject.

I have no complaints about it. It's easier to clean than the old Sears gun I used to use, it's fairly comfortable, and there isn't too much overspray if you have the settings right. Mine is gravity feed so there is very little waste. The plastic paint cups can get dry and crack in storage, but they're fairly cheap, so that hasn't been a big issue.

Uhh...maybe. It's 1200 miles away and I think they've changed brands a couple of times since I bought it. The new ones look basically the same but the brand is slightly different.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
