Default Went shopping and ...

This 1811 jumped on the trailer.
Took Nancy for a 80 mile ride today and picked up this 1811. Can't say much about it other than it's got two sets of tires. 23's that are loaded with chains, and a set 26's with wheel weights.
Cub Cadet tiller. A later 50" mower deck, and two stage snow thrower. Snow thrower is in the back of the truck for today...
Ain't the prettiest girl at the dance, but "she'll" dance.
Happy, happy, happy

Glad you decided to get it, it looks like a real nice machine. Now all you need to do is put that tiller on a pallet and send it my way.

WOW, that is a nice looking 1811. I think that is one of the best Cubs ever built and you even scored one with a cat 0. Looks like a nice B-day present. Gotta ask ya, how many you up to now?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
