Default What's this for?
Today I put a new air filter on and took off the tins to clean some grass out from around the spark plug. I'm wondering what this bracket might be for, it's bolted on above the muffler.

its for pulling the engine from the tractor but its in the wrong spot, it should be on a head bolt.

Should it go on the bolt directly behind it? The paint there suggests it might have been there once before.

Usually it's on one of the middle bolts so it lift the engine evenly.
