Default 149 IH S/G Belt size

I have searched but could not find any info about belt size. Any one know the NAPA part # or the size of belt. I measured with a rope and came up with 1/2 inch by 33 inches. Would like to get the correct belt.
Thanks and have a great day.
Bob

According to the manufacturer's website, it's a 3/8 x 31-11/16. Item number 113 in the parts breakout below... Cub Cadet's website wasn't working so I pulled it up on Parts Tree. Same breakout as CC.

dbuck, picked up the belt from NAPA you said you use and put it on tonight. Still have some more work to do before I can fire it up. Thanks for the info and have a great evening.

Your are Welcome, with that belt being so short. A cogged belt seems to conform to the pulleys better, were as I have had a non-cogged slip in the past. glad it work out for you.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
