It could be worse. I just spent $14.99 a quart at TSC for the fluid (Drive System Plus Synthetic Blend) for my 3240CC. Hate the price but don't want to pay CC/MTD $194+ for 4 one gallon bottles. Old store stock from a small engine shop charged me $40 for the only gallon bottle they had. Said most people don't even bother changing that oil because of the price. Need 5.5quarts for my trans fluid change resulting in the gallon and two quart bottles. Next change will be a different fluid members on here may recommend

$3.99/Qt for Hy./Tran plus at my Case IH dealer yesterday.
You would pay darn near that for any engine oil.

Find a Case IH dealer close to you and call them about hy-tran. A lot of dealers do phone orders and can ship it. I know these guys would even do it, but shipping might be killer.

Talk to Gary Henry (parts). He's the guy in with the know.

I bought this for my 127 hydro. This is my local dealer. I think they will ship it. Give them a call.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
