Shaner, those are nice. I passed on a JD mower a year or so ago because like most green stuff the price was too high. Do you use it much and how well does it cut? I gotta ask about that plow too, can you sink it in and pull it?

I used the mower last year to finish out my mowing season. It cuts amazing. Way better than any cub cadet mower deck I've ever used. Im,gonna use it this year a little bit, I got a John Deere 317 I want to use for mowing this year until I get a zero turn.

The plow I can sink it in and it will pull it. It does not by any means like it. I have to take the bucket or forks off the loader for it to pull it. Even then, it still spins out allot. I only have 75lbs in each wheel. I need to find some heavy iron weights and fill the tires and then it might pull better. I plan on putting the 2btm plow on the super this year tho. Need to order a hydraulic split kit for it still.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
