Default SLT1554 Hydro Issue
Hello I have a 2006 SLT1554 and the linkage from the gas pedal to the transmission broke. I put the new one in and replaced the drive belt. After I got everything put back together when I push on the gas pedal to go forward it goes in reverse. When I push to go in reverse it goes forward. It seems that everything is assembled correctly. The PTO works fine. Any ideas as to why this would happen?

OK, 1st it not a gas pedal, it the forward reverse pedal. 2nd my guess is you got the linkage messed up.

Thanks Sam Mac for your response. It ended up being the belt. It somehow got twisted therefore reversing the operation of the forward/reverse pedal.
