Default I don't want the deck
I have a 1450 that has I believe a 50 in deck under it. I don't want the deck so I have taken it out. I am going to restore the tractor but I also want to use it with attachments such as a plow and box blade for a small garden. It doesn't have the sleeve hitch assembly or the 3 point hitch for that. I would love to trade for that. I'm not sure if that's possible or even against the rules. I mowed grass with it and it done fine before taking it off. any advise???

If you measure tip to tip of the blades facing the outside of the deck you will get an accurate width. A 50" is the largest that was available for the 1450.

My advice is to stand the mower deck assembly in a corner and let it sit. Sooner or later, you'll want it or someone that has a rusty deck and good tractor will like to pay you decent money for it.

Those decks were really bad about rusting through under the edge of the top cover.

I agree... the mower deck is one of the most useful attachments you could have. Even if you don't use it now id put it up somewhere... Just my opinion

Keep it. You may want to mow some day and you'll kick yourself selling the mower off.

i agree about keeping the deck, you never know when you might need it and if you ever decide to sell the tractor it will sell faster and for a lot more money with the deck.
