Pulled the motor on my 123
I pulled the motor off my 123 tonight ,the front oil seal in back of the pto is about half way out of the block and it leaks when it is running.
Was going to have the CC shop rebuild the motor for me till they told me they get $70.00/hr. shop rate. So I would like to mount the motor on a motor stand so I can roll it around the garage and turn it as needed,( did a quick search with no luck ) It looks like I could mount it to a stand after pulling the PTO off the front. How do you hold/mount your motors to work on them, all info /help is needed. Thanks for taking the time to read though my post. Joe

i just work on mine on a bench, in my opinion theres no good way to put it on an engine stand without it being in the way or risking dropping the engine.

I also use the S/G holes but I made a simple stand that bolts to my bench and rotates and locks every 90*.

Those are some very good ideas. A lot better than a plastic tarp on top of a work bench and two 4x4's!
