The additional pin or bolt will help with reducing flex and strain on the attachment.
Thanks Jeff I will do that, looks like something I could also make. I do have snow chains that fit the wheels I have on now but if I change to ag's of the same size would the chains still fit? or do you put chains on ags? I am looking out for some wheel weights.....I enjoyed the pics in your link

The advantage turfs have over ags is the amount of tire in contact with the ground. Will ags with chains work? Yes but turfs with chains will work better.

On my In Laws farm, the small White ( about 60 hp ) has a loader which gets a snow bucket for winter. It has ags and chains but only because a pair of turfs in that size cost about the same as a used car

When I changed to ags on my 123 from turfs of the same size, I had to go with larger chains in order for them to fit. The ags have a larger circumference, so they take larger chains.
