Default 70 with moldboard plow
Im looking at buying a cub 70, I will be using it for plowing with a brinly plow, potato plow and cultaivators how hard are these to lift with the lift lever with the spring assist? thanks dale

You should be fine with a spring assist.. Even without you'd be OK if not doing too big of an area.

I used a manual lift for a plow without spring assist, but I'm 16 so it wasn't a problem to do half an acre. I have a spring assist on a different tractor, and if majes lifting a monstor like a tiller, easy. You won't have any problems!

I have a spring assist on my 122, and even when it is tightened as much as I can the plow is a tough bugger to lift after a few passes...but I drive for a living and my arms ain't what they used to be.

Probably I need to dismantle the spring assist and clean up the threads so I can tighten it more?? It gets to a point and stops tightening, only twists the spring..
