Thanks ! I'd like someday to get everything (IH & CCC) out for a pic if this weather would ever dry up. When it does stop raining it's cut the grass time before the next passing shower happens. CRAZY WEATHER!

Default 72 on chore duty

Spent the morning spraying the yard with the 72.. Great little chore tractor.. It's my first 7hp and I cant get over how smooth and balanced the K161 is. Doesn't have the power of a 10 or 12 hp but it sure does run slick.

Here's my 169 I recently purchased. A few minor problems and working a couple bugs out. Overall a terrific machine!

I am also not using the factory Ih bolts, I'm installing new gauges, tie rod ends, front wheel bearings, new lights, and some other things. does this really count as a restoration, or is it not even close?
Here we go with another rivet counter. I am happy with the fact that someone takes the time to "restore " these fine machines, do not be so materialistic and or critical on others of what you consider is not right. Maybe you should buy the paint for them. I know sometimes money gets tight, and one can't spare the extra $$$ to go that route. That is my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

Well you could move to South Carolina we don't get too much rain down here, I think more rain than Southern California though.

Default The 100

Spent a few minutes today with the 100. She hadn't been out in a while so I dusted it off, drained the fuel and replaced with fresh fuel. Took it out and ran it around for a half hour or so. This one seems to never want or need anything. It always starts no matter how long I neglect it. It's one of my favorites!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
