Good for you! Nice 100! The fenders make it, but adding the headlights will be great!

Default Amp Gauge Location

From what I read the Amp Gauge was an accessory up through the 71-123 Series and was not factory installed at all until the 72-125 Series. As such it was either dealer or owner installed and I have seen them in a variety of locations such as: above steering column in dash such as yours (most common), on driveshaft tunnel, or on a bracket (supplied as part of the accessory package) on either side of the control tower. In summary I don't believe that there is a "Correct" factory location for the Amp Gauge until the 72-125 Series tractors. If anyone out there can supply any more information concerning this please let me know.

I wouldn't worry about lights, when it gets dark, park it!
Just make sure they're on the next tractor you chase to Pennsylvania for! Nice Tractor!!!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
