Muffler box broke!
Anyone ever have this happen? Ripped the holes right out of the tin! Guess I will drill and tap some new mounting bolt holes and try thread locker.

Something seems odd to me about that muffler box. Judging by the diameter of the hole I fell like they may have been enlarged at some point putting them very close to the edge with little to no material left to support the box. I could swear the holes on mine are smaller and a little further in.
Edit: it also appears you are missing the tin that covers the cylinder head. Without it the air will probably just blow right over the muffler box rather than through it.

Yeah I never have put it back on after I over hauled it. Didn't wanna put it on only to take it off again to retorque the head bolts. I thought it odd the holes were oval too. Guess it's been loose for awhile and I didn't notice it.
