Got the engine back in, runs at proper speed now and horrible knocking from loose flywheel and PTO is all gone. Replaced a ton of missing bolts, got the steering box adjusted out. Gonna build the PTO clutch and try to mow w/it.

They look good mister fleetside, I see you're refusing to take you're medicine for yellow fever, that's a good sign. Btw don't get an original or any other model cub that you don't have because you will like those too!

Thanks David. Yeah its funny Alvy, I wasn't looking for another, but it found me. Lol. Kinda like it, the engine is rebored and runs really good, clutch is kinda noisy but works, almost ready to try out the deck once I get a PTO disc. Quit my job and haven't started my new one so bucks down. Down to 2 beers in the fridge...getting serious.

So far so good David, a little tough getting used to the heat. But I accomplish stuff, rather than same old same old parts. Today I started a headliner job on a 65 GTO. Had some extra pay so two Deestones from the local tire dealer-went in @10:30 she had them at 2:30 for $130 tax incld. Buy local.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
