I seen that list, but I'm looking for the production quantities of what I think are the most popular models. For example, how many 149's and 782's were made?

I can not say that I ever seen a complete list for every model. I have seen bits and pieces for certain models, ie: Original, 73, 126, 169, & 800, models being low production, and/or rare.

On the production originals if you take serial number 590 from the last serial nr of 65457 then you have 64867 original production models. I know that there were a small number of preproduction tractors built and later made into production models but the number 64867 should be very close to actual produced originals.

If I recall correctly (my book is at home), production numbers for many models, but not all, are noted in 50 Years of Cub Cadet by Oscar H. Will III.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
