1864 project
Picked up a low hour 1864 last summer , really have not had too much time to play with it till now. Want to clean up pressure wash etc.
How do you get the fender pan off to clean by the fuel tank etc?

Remove the bolts on each side under the rubber foot rest pads OR the two bolts on the back of the foot rest pads holding them to the fenders. Then, while sliding the seat both all the forward and then all the way backwards, remove the 4 allen head bolts holding the seat on (two up front and two in the back, both tucked away in the seat slide rails). Lift up the seat carefully, disconnect the two wiring harness connections under the seat, and remove the seat. The fender pan should then be free.
