I tired the terra grips this past winter on my partially paved and partially gravel road. On payment, they were an improvement over no chains, however not as good a steel chains. On the gravel portion, almost as good as steel chains.

These Carlisle All Trails actually look like a viable alternative to the old firestones, actually looking to get a pair for my 123 when ready.

Taking a serious look into theses Attachment 65075[/QUOTE]
What are those tires? I would be interested in a set of them for my 104.

I have the Carlisle All Trail on my 149. Had 2 big snows this past winter. Loaded with Rim Guard 65# each. I have a steep drive way and the tires did excellent with the 36" snow Blower. Only had trouble in one area that had ice under the snow. Had to put chains on then.Cleared the main road for about 75 yards with a slight grade and used no chains. Great for winter use. Don't know about dirt plowing and tilling yet but hope to know soon.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
