According to parts lookup, there should be 2 large springs as part of the assly.
part # IH-23331 SA NLA from Cub.
I just acquired one of these units and am missing the wheels as well as both of the springs.

If anyone has some spec's, pictures w/details on these 2 springs I sure would appreciate it.

Here is one of the springs on my landscape rake.I don't know if it is an original part, but I have 2 and they hook up to brackets on the rear axle housing. After seeing how nice one is painted(if not the right color) mine is going to the sandblaster!

Those are original, lucky, as those seem to be missing usually.

I, too, am diggin out the old ones!! My rake has the springs but missing the gauge wheels, axles and spacers. That spring looks like mine but seems mine are hooked different. Look like they pull down on the rake since they hook to the tractor axle low. I will go down and take a quick look and see how they hook up.

Default You want to sell it?

I am looking for a landscape take and the rear blade. I am located in Nj and I am willing to pay good money for them. I am new to these forums.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
