Default New Battery

Well I couldn't stand it. Went to Chinamart,-new battery- started right up.

There is an antique tractor show on Wednesday in Cumming Ga, about 15 minutes from the house. Maybe I will find some Cub toys there.

I think you done great. I found a local 1450 with a mismatched deck un restored in good condition but no extras and they were asking $350. I didnt buy as other obligations came up.

Welcome to OCC,

You probably really should start your own new thread, about this.

FWIW, last spring, I paid $110.00 for a 1650 with 3 point and 90 degree gear box, it was missing a few parts and didn't run when I got it. Had it running in less than 30 minutes once I got it home, rounded up all the parts and had it all put back together in a couple of weeks.

Couldn't agree more Mark. To the OP start a new thread and post some pics of what you want to sell if you want a value. Otherwise it could be anyplace from scrap value to collector price, we have no way of knowing what you have.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
