Think I am sick, now addicted to this Cub Cadet. It's all the grandsons' fault!
We find ourselves tracking UPS and USPS packages daily, no hourly. What's in the cardboard boxes? Yeah right, no perfume (for the Ms.) unless you like the small of oil on the used Cub Cadet parts! Three grandsons, all elementary school age, are now arguing, "It's my turn to drive next." Is there a way out or do I have to get at least two more Cubbies? ![]()

Installed the height indicator/lift bracket just now. Tomorrow we have to travel three hours x 2 just to pickup a 54" plow ass'y. Then the boys online saw a Cubbie with a shredder on the front, boys ask, "Can we chop all the walnuts with that thing?" One of their fall chores is to pick up walnuts off the front yard, lots of 'em too! The boys 'n I chuckle when we see "real ridin' mowers" at Home Cheapo and Lowes. We did purchase a very heavy duty thatch rake for the young gentlemen to run up 'n down the gravel/millings driveway ('bout a 100 yards). The eight year old is teachin' the six year old all about Cubs! ![]()

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
