LT1042 Muffler problem?
Hello!
I think I may have of a problem with my 2008 LT1042 (19hp Kohler Courage). I was mowing my yard last night and all of a sudden the engine got quite a bit louder. The sound is hard to explain, it's not a metallic bang or clank, it sounds like more of an issue with the muffler. My ex-boyfriend purchased this for me a couple of years ago and I haven't had any issues with it until now. Maintenance is performed every spring like the owners manual suggests. The dealer that it was purchased from just went out of business, so I'm just trying to figure out a little more about the problem is before I take it somewhere new. It only has 32 hours on it! Are there any known issues with these mufflers? Can it be something more serious? Can I still use it? Thank you! Sommer
