Did he measure it and tell you 30 over?? And I don't care who made the kit, no boring until he has the piston!! Like was said, they don't make a bore shirnker!! The machine shop I used was concerned about the skirt clearance tolerances and what specs to use. When I contacted the people I bought the kit from they said to use kohler clearance specs. I think I would have taken the block elsewhere.

It may take them a week depending on how busy they are, took mine a week or so to get back. I bought a kit with valves and had the machine shop take care of that since I dint have a spring compressor. My kit came from kustom lawn and garden.
