It's a spirol pin. Not to be confused with a spring pin. They are different. You can get them from CCC, IH, a parts store or "farm store" may have them. Order them online.... from Cub Cadet, McMaster Carr.... lots of places.

Hardware store, auto parts store, local Cub/Deere/etc. dealer, lawnmower repair shop, another garden tractor (but I would just buy new ones rather than used)..

One of the sponsors at the top of the page or google it. Spirol Coil pin . they come in 1/4x 1 1/8" - 1/4x 1 1/4" - 1/4x 1 1/2" - 1/4x 2"

There has been a lot of post recently about how to get them out and replacing them.

I didn't watch your vid but if it's the pin on the outside of the frame that holds the triangle plate on it is a 5/16" spiral pin, you most likely won't find it at your local hardware store.

Check with out sponsors at the top of the page, or you can order a package of 5 or 10 from McMaster Carr.

Guys, I appreciate all the help. It is 11 here in Mi, and we are having the annual snowpocalapse. Seeing as to the fact that it needed an immediate fix, I stuck a 3/8x1" bolt in it and a couple of lock washers. should get one plowing in before I make it into town.

You'll shear it before you get anything done.... Sorry, but a bolt is just not strong enough....

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
