Can't say it looks good. Looks to be a 1/24th die cast from that distance. Or my eye sight is getting real bad.
Closer picture is needed.

I can honestly say that I have been there with a rough 1250. The tractor was a nightmare (thus its name, 1250 Nightmare) but it turned out to be a decent tractor, and a heck of a lot of fun to use.

Keep working on it. You'll have positive results in time; and a great Cub Cadet when you get it done!

That's better I know your putting a lot of work in it and it's starting to show. Looks good. Keep at it and in no time (that's not true) it'll be earning it's keep...

Thank you much for the kind words.. The paint job is done only to prevent any more hood rust from happening.. So I know it is all over the place.. Yes I did it while the hood and the nose was on the tractor.. I got it on the frame,(brushed on paint job), gotta redo it any way. Little on the engine, I gotta redo that also.. Not to worried on the decal, I was going to take them off for the replacement ones any how..

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
