I have CaCl2 in the tires on my 1811. About 7 gal per tire IIRC.

I did my 1864. Here is the thread. I think all methods are covered by others that commented.

I had a hard time breaking my tires down so I used the washer pump on my truck. Removed cores for valve stem, clamped a piece of fuel line over valve stem, unplugged washer line from the tee going to washer nozzles on truck. Put the washer line inside fuel line and just used the pump and washer bottle on the truck. About 20 min to do both wheels and all I had to buy was a few feet of fuel line and one clamp.

That's pretty creative! Hopefully you won't be replacing your washer pump next week.

I got 22 gallons of winter washer fluid from wal-mart just to be safe and had 3/4 gallon left over when i did my 1812 , I did have a set of bkt ags on it , turfs may take a little more . I did the Sam mac method, worked great . I did cheat a little i used my skid loader to break the top bead and then had a buddy push down on the bead while i poured the fluid in . The difference in traction is night and day better .

Here is a link to the RimGuard tire fill chart. http://www.rimguard.biz/wp-content/u...s-2014-PDF.pdf It will give you a good idea of how many gallons you can get in a tire. Keep in mind the weights shown are the weight of there product not the weight of windshield washer fluid.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
