I am curious. Why do all you Pennsylvania Members always make reference to a County, rather than a city, village or town? Is this a Pennsylvania thing..??

Just folowing suit. Mansfield

I am originally from NY state, most people hear NY, and they instantly think NYC. Well there is a lot more to NY than NYC.

Many PA residents live in the country rather than in town. Many of these towns/villages are very small so if I said Mingoville or Zion or Hublersburg most folks would have to google it to find out what area of PA I live in. I also believe that many do not want to disclose their exact location on the web. After 35 years in a military uniform my motto is "Don't worry about the dog, beware of the owner."

Not necessarily. I'm just over the line in NY. across from Pike County, which by the way I didn't see mentioned as I scrolled down the list. We also have layer of govt. at County level. From smallest to upper layer it goes Village/City which are both located withing a Town. The towns are sub section of the County and the counties make up the state. All of those layers each extract money from the various residents. But if I live outside of a village or city, then I'm only hit with Town, county and state taxes.
Over in PA they also have Boroughs, which I think is our equivalent of villages and Townships. See how easy that is. Actually, it's all about ways to extract money from your pocket.
