SLT-1554 Spindles

I am curious if there is a modification to the front wheel/spindle assembly with the Super LT-1554. Mine are worn out, especially the left side that was more difficult to keep greased, and would like to know about improvements that I could make instead of just ordering the replacement spindles and rims and putting it all back together. Mine does not currently have the ball bearings in the front rims and the rims do not have grease fittings in them they have the separate little collar with the fitting in it that goes on behind the rim. The grease, left one especially, always just wants to push right out the back of the collar instead of going in to the rim, limiting the amount of grease I was able to keep on the spindles and mine have worn out after 400 hours of use. I would like to find a better setup for the front of my mower so I’m not doing this again in another few hundred hours. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
